FAQ

Common questions about forms, costs and timelines.

If your question isn't here, ask us directly — we answer within one business day.

Do you decide which USCIS forms my case needs?

We review the documents and facts you provide and identify the forms and supporting evidence that match your situation, then prepare them exactly as USCIS instructions require. We are not attorneys and cannot advise you on which legal strategy to pursue.

What does document preparation cost?

Every engagement is quoted as a flat fee before work begins, based on the forms involved and the size of the evidence packet. You receive the scope and price in writing, so there are no hourly surprises.

Are USCIS filing fees included in your quote?

No. Government filing and biometrics fees are paid directly to USCIS and are separate from our preparation fee. We confirm the current fee amounts for your forms before you file, and can prepare a fee-waiver request (I-912) when you may qualify.

How long does preparation take?

Most packets are ready for your review within three to seven business days of receiving your complete documents. Renewals such as I-765 or DACA are often faster; adjustment-of-status and asylum packets take longer because of the evidence involved.

How long will USCIS take to decide my case?

Processing times are set by USCIS and vary by form, service center and case type — from a few months for work permits to a year or more for family petitions and naturalization. We track your receipt notices and posted processing times so you always know where the case stands.

What happens if USCIS sends a Request for Evidence?

Send it to us as soon as it arrives. We calendar the deadline, assemble the additional documents USCIS asked for, and prepare a complete, indexed response packet well before the response date.

Do you handle documents that are not in English?

Yes. We arrange certified English translations of birth, marriage, divorce and police records, and include the required translator certification with your filing.

Is my information kept private?

Yes. Your file is confidential by default, shared only with you and, when you direct it, with USCIS or an attorney you designate.
